The MSDR solution is not limited to software: it is provided with a package of professional services, designed to ensure that the hyperconverged infrastructure and business continuity are effective, sustainable, and verifiable over time. These services are intended to support complex IT environments, distributed clusters, and regulated scenarios (NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001) and integrate perfectly with the Proxmox ecosystem.

Design and implementation

The first step is the custom design of the MSDR solution: the business context is evaluated (number of sites, bandwidth between sites, storage, VM/CT, network latency) and the recommended architecture is defined (Proxmox + Ceph cluster, Proxmox ZFS, one-way or two-way mode). Atlante Informatica handles the turnkey implementation: installation, configuration, bootstrap tests, verification of failover/fallback procedures, and technical documentation. During the startup phase, a complete test is carried out, including fault simulation and validation of RPO/RTO objectives.

Monitoring and proactive maintenance

Once the solution is in production, a continuous monitoring and maintenance service is available: checking cluster status, Ceph pools, replication lag, effective bandwidth, deviation alerts, and preventive interventions. The client benefits from support packages with defined SLAs (Standard, Top, H24) and planned updates through the integrated SafeSync Updates service.

Report and audit portal

The service includes access to a portal where users can consult: periodic replication reports (including lag indicators and estimates via the ETA function), failover/fallback logs, and audit documentation (volumes, times, data consistency). This allows IT managers and internal auditors to verify compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, and the NIS2 directive.

Training and technical support

The solution is accompanied by a training path dedicated to the client’s administrators and, if applicable, to partners. Technical support is provided by Proxmox and Ceph certified professionals, with specific expertise in hyperconverged architectures and multi-site disaster recovery scenarios. The client receives assistance in planning and executing DR and fallback tests. Technical support is provided with defined SLAs and 24/7 support.

Periodic Disaster Recovery Testing

To ensure that the solution remains effective over time, a process of scheduled disaster recovery tests is activated: failover simulations, verification of recovery times, data resync, and evaluation of network and storage impact. The results are documented and shared with the client to plan improvements and optimizations.
