Update History
This section covers the MSDR release history, the upcoming roadmap, and the release policies.
Update and support policy
MSDR (Multi Site Disaster Recovery) software updates are released on a regular basis, following a development cycle structured in precise phases.
The goal is to ensure that every release, prior to customer distribution, is fully verified in terms of functionality, performance, and compatibility with the Proxmox, Ceph, and ZFS ecosystem.

Validation phases:
Validation phases:
Internal development and validation
New features are developed and tested in the laboratory on real Proxmox, Ceph, and ZFS systems, simulating failures, updates, heavy loads, and failover scenarios to ensure data stability and consistency.
Cross-platform integration testing
Every version is verified across multiple Proxmox VE, Ceph, and ZFS releases, testing for compatibility.
Resilience and load testing
The system is subjected to stress tests simulating network congestion, link interruptions, and I/O peaks to validate performance and RPO/RTO times.
Compliance and security testing
Each build is audited based on ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, GDPR, DORA, and NIS2 standards.
